What Are Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions?
Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent eyelash extensions comprised of individual synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. Our lashes are thicker at the base and taper to a fine point. They are applied to individual eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes. Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are for professional application only. Self-application and application by untrained individuals is strongly discouraged.
Will Xtreme Lashes® damage my natural lashes and is the glue safe?
Properly applied lash extensions that are glued ONE by ONE to your natural lashes will NOT damage your natural lashes. Proper application is described as one extension is applied to exactly one lash and will stay on for the duration of it’s life cycle (60-90 days). Each single lash will then naturally shed off at different cycles. It will not pull out the adjacent lashes. As one lash sheds, a new one has grown in its place.
We use the XL FlexFusion® Adhesive which is a medical grade adhesive that features flexibility, safety, longevity, ideal viscosity and fast application speed. Developed to the highest standards of safety, quality and performance by a team of scientists, physicians and expert lash stylists. The XL FlexFusion Adhesive is developed by Xtreme Lashes® and is made in a USA FDA-registered facility, manufactured to ISO 13485:2003 Quality Management Standards, Carbon black-free and a low odor and low fume formula.
Why are Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions more expensive than other brands?
Everyone wants a discount and yes, you can get a full set of eyelash extensions done for $100 or $150. But would you really want to? At this price, technicians have to speed through the procedure to maximize their time. This leads to poor quality work or shortcuts leading to 3-4 lashes being clumped together which can lead to damaging the natural lashes. Xtreme Lash stylist are professionally trained to ensure the long-term safety of your eyelashes.
What are Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions made out of?
Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions are made from synthetic polyester. Synthetic lashes respond better to wear and tear than other materials. In addition, synthetics have the least possible chance of allergic reactions with human skin.
What are the benefits of wearing Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions?
Xtreme Lashes® Semi- Permanent Eyelash Extensions add curl, thickness and length to lashes, opening up the eye for added definition. They look A-MAZING and make you look a millions times prettier.
The main advantage of wearing eyelash extensions is how much time you can save during your beauty regimen. Eyelash extension don’t look obviously fake and you hardly need any other make-up; mascara is no longer necessary. The added benefit is that they look beautiful morning and night, all day, every day. No matter how tired/hungover/ill you are, you’ll still look glamorous.
How long does the procedure take?
It generally takes between 1-2 1/2 hours to apply a full set of Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions. Touch-ups can be done in as little as 45 to 120 minutes.
How long do Xtreme Lashes® Eyelash Extensions Last?
The look can be maintained indefinitely with refills. When properly applied the eyelash extensions will remain in place until the natural lash on which it rests falls out. The natural lash cycle is between every 60 to 90 days. When a natural lash matures and falls out, a new lash has already been growing and quickly replaces it. This process is constant, and at any given moment. Our many natural lashes are at different stages of their life cycles. Some are just growing in, while others are ready to shed. People typically shed between 1 and 5 natural lashes each day, depending on our individual growth cycles. On shorter natural lashes, this growing and shedding cycle is virtually unnoticeable. With proper aftercare, touch-ups are typically only needed once every 2 to 4 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed.
How do I take care of my lash extensions?
• For the first 48 hours after lash application Do not wash eyes, swim, or shower to allow time for bonding.
• Do not sleep on your side
• Do not rub your eyes.
• Do not use a mechanical eyelash curler.
• Do not us oil-based makeup products, including mascara and eye-makeup remover.
• Use only water-based mascara. Apply mascara from mid lash up to the tips, only.
• Use only water-based facial cleansers if possible.
• Use a Q-tip or a lint-free applicator when removing eye makeup
• Do not visit saunas or steam rooms frequently. Continued exposure to heat may cause the bond to loosen.
